Y	Yutaka Kato on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 自転車ヒルクライムの目的地として行ってみました。大変な急坂ですが、達成感があります。もっとも、ついたところで立ち入りもできずマルHを眺めるだけなのですが・・・苦笑道の終点はまだ先にあるようですが、舗装はこれより少し先にある「メタウォーター奥多摩の森」と書かれた看板のあるところで途切れています。こんなところ、誰も来ないかと思いきや、土曜日の昼で車2台、登山者1人、自転車1台とすれ違いました。ダウンヒルの際は速度に十分ご注意を。 I went as a bicycle hill climb destination. F	Fp Kazu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年5月29日時点で、茶屋キャンプ場を過ぎて川を渡る橋（東京都水道局大丹波沈砂池）のところで通行止めになってます。警備員が1人監視してたので「ずっと通行止めになってるのですか」と聞いてみたら「緊急事態宣言ですから」と答えてました。確かに奥多摩全域の駐車場が閉鎖されており、写真は橋から少し手前の駐車場ですがこんなところまで駐車禁止の紐が張ってあります。通常の車高の車なら停めることはできますけども。大丹波ヘリポートのような全く密でない場所がなぜ緊急事態宣言で規制されるのか不合理ですね。移動が禁止ということなら、ここまでの道中たくさんの集団トレッキングの方に自由に移動しておられます。人権制限はできないけど、行政の指揮命令系統で可能なことはやってるのかもしれませんし、そもそも以前から通行止めだったようですしコロナ対策予算消費のために警備員が配置されただけかもしれません。 As of May 29, 2021, the road is closed at the bridge (Otaba Sand Pond, Tokyo Metropolitan Waterworks Bureau) that crosses the river past the Chaya Campground.
