S	Shanghai Skies on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious shaved ice (I recommend the matcha one!) and taiyaki. Cosy atmosphere and friendly service. Even the small size of shaved ice is quite big, which I like. It tastes like a high quality dessert!
M	MeT on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful taiyaki/azuki ice cafe!! Small cafe in nakazakicho but a definite favourite among the locals. The taiyaki is Delicious- beans are luxuriously filled into crisp wafer- not overly sweet but fresh n very fragrant. Delicious n definitely to eat more than the single one. The azuki ices are also fantastic served with variety of fruit, plain or with yoghurt- so enticing n Super yummy on a hot day! Ambience in the cafe is great with many young families n kids enjoying this delight. The staff r helpful n they have an English menu. The young master, as I’ve learnt, is a true taiyaki pro and puts loving care into the making of his azuki bean paste- no wonder that this cafe is so popular. Seating is counter style or on an elevated floor Japanese style. Colourful n kawaii decor with many children’s drawings n illustrations. This cafe is a must stop - for 1 taiyaki, an azuki ice n finish it off with a coffee! Power up! Highly recommended if u are a taiyaki or azuki beans fan.
B	Bai Ying Song on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really recommend this place for kakigori! It was a bit tricky to find this place since google maps doesn’t work optimally in Japan. However, when we finally found it, we loved it at first sight! It l’s a really cozy place where you have to take off your shoes if you want to sit on the mats. They have a menu with pictures but also seasonal specials which are promoted with hand-drawn posters. We found the “small” already quite big, but to was just too tasty that we ordered one more! And we also tried some of the takiyaki and the hojicha (tea) :)) Our favorite is the mango kakigori :)

The shaved ice (Kakigori) is substantially filled with ingredients and the ice is of very good quality that did not melt quickly even though it's so warm. There's indoor and outdoor seating and you can request for an English menu. Though take note that the English menu only have the basic Kakigori flavours without their food and drinks items. I will suggest that you look at the wall for "Seasonal speciality" flavours. Even if you don't read Japanese, you can understand their cute and beautiful drawings. We had the Mango Kakigori at ¥1000 and it's worth every yen. Awesome place and I will highly recommend a visit!!!!
J	JT on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would say this is the best kakigori I’ve had so far (I had the peach). Peach chunks were generous, and was a great refresher in the summer heat. My companion did not like the chocolate one very much though.
