陳	陳家威 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of my favorite markets. Prices here are more affordable with a variety of fruits, veggies and seafood. Noted that most vendors do not provide cooking service. So if you want to pick up and eat as soon as possible, you better get a place for yourself to cook.

As well as a supermarket inside for your Japanese snacks fix. Good price vs the market in central Osaka, freshly opened Uni, oysters are at exception value vs others places. Fresh seasonal fruits are quite a lot cheaper than others and definitely exceptional vs department stores at Osaka center. 4 stars for its distance and relatively limited choice in restaurants.
C	Chan shuk ying on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The very local market in Osaka. All the fruit are very nice! But you need to come here early in the morning. I arrived here at 10:15, there are only strawberries and grapes left. The price of strawberries from $600 yen to $1200 yen each box. I got the $600 yen one. It tastes fresh and sweet! And you can try the oyster, sea urchin. The price here are cheaper than supper market. Buy sea food here and eat immediately. I got the Hokkaido sea urchin for $2800 yen, really enjoyable with the smell of sea and the fresh taste. And the oyster $500 yen each, also worth to try the nice taste, although it is not creamy. There are sashimi restaurant outside with long queue. I que up at 11:45, and a staff come out and stop the queue. Saying that the food sold out. So you also need to queue up early in the morning if you want to try sashimi platter.
J	Joseph Tang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While most tourists will go to Kuromon Ichiba Market, this is a less well known wholesale market for fishes, meats & fruits in Osaka but I like it much better where you can see more local buyers & real actions. However, this market doesn’t have that many dining outlets/restaurants as Kuromon but I don’t think it matters since 10 minutes walk from here there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
