昔は地方のバスは確かに高齢者や障がいをお持ちの方などが乗客の多くを占めていましたが、超高齢化社会が目前の現在、大阪シティバスのドル箱路線である梅田駅行きのバスに乗っても、状況が同じであったことに少々驚きました。
都内も同じですが、今や高齢者の移動手段に欠かせないのがバスです。
高齢ドライバーの事故が爆発的に増えている中、市営からシティバスへと組織が変わって、より安全運転や乗客に優しいドライバーを育成し、利用しやすいバス会社となることを望みます。
