A little bit far from main street but hotel offers free shuttle to Zao bus terminal and all cable way stations, even to restaurants in non-busy hours. Recommended for people who come to Zao for ski/snowboard holidays.
T	Terry Liao on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This onsen resort has really good private onsen, in fact there are so many of them you would not likely to feel bored here even if you don't ski. There are really friendly English and Mandarine speaking staff to assist you, and to help you plan your days around this onsen region. The only down side is the hotel location, it's one of the most difficult hotel to get to by foot in this area, especially during the snowy winter days. They have free shuttle service picking and dropping you on and off from either the JR Yamagata stn or zao onsen bus terminal stn. You will have to call them to arrange the free shuttle though. Their shuttle van also can take you to anywhere around the zao ski area, but you have to have a cell phone to call when you wanted to be picked up.
