★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 料金も往復1100円とお安く、ロープウェイで山頂まで登ると鬼怒川温泉が一望でき景色綺麗でとても素敵です。
レトロな雰囲気の駅舎も素敵です、値段も安いのでかなりオススメです。
 The charge is also cheap at a round trip of 1100 yen, and you can overlook the Kinugawa Onsen when you climb to the top of the mountain with a ropeway, and the scenery is very nice.
The retro-style station building is also nice, so it's cheap, so it's highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鬼怒川公園駅からノンビリ歩いて徒歩20分位で到着しました。
待合室にはコインロッカーありました。外に喫煙所もありました。
I arrived at Kinugawa Koen Station in about 20 minutes on foot.
There was a coin locker in the waiting room. There was also a smoking area outside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 帰りは歩いて山を下りようと思い、ケーブルカーの片道切符を買って山頂へ向いましたが、下りの山道は倒木などがあり通行禁止でした。「自己責任でどうぞ」とのことでしたが勇気ある撤退をさせていただきました。
On the way back, I decided to walk down the mountain, so I bought a one-way ticket for the cable car and headed to the top of the mountain, but the downhill road was closed to traffic due to fallen trees. You said, "Please do it at your own risk," but I made a courageous withdrawal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鬼怒川公園が最寄りの駅ですが、事前に予約すれば鬼怒川温泉駅から無料のシャトルバスがあるそうです。
ロープウェイは往復1100円。 まるやま山頂のおさるの山では、1袋100円でお猿さんにエサやりが出来ます。3月上旬には小猿も何匹かいて、エサをねだる姿が可愛かったです。
他にも2匹の龍の像がある双龍門や温泉神社、展望台などがあります。
展望台からの景色も綺麗でした。
鳥居が並ぶ温泉神社迄は少し歩くので、帰りのロープウェイの時間を聞いてから散策に出ると良いです。帰りのシャトルバスもあるので、車以外の方はそちらも一緒に聞くと良いですよ。親切なスタッフさんが教えて下さいます。
Kinugawa Park is the nearest station, but if you make a reservation in advance, there is a free shuttle bus from Kinugawa Onsen Station.
The ropeway costs 1100 yen for a round trip. At the top of Mt. Maruyama, you can feed monkeys for 100 yen per bag. In early March, there were some small monkeys, and the appearance of begging for food was cute.
There are also the Ssangyong Gate with two dragon statues, a hot spring shrine, and an observatory.
The view from the observatory was also beautiful.
You can walk a little to the hot spring shrine where the torii are lined up, so it's a good idea to listen to the time of the return ropeway before going for a walk. There is also a shuttle bus on the way back, so if you're not a car, it's a good idea to listen to that as well. The kind staff will tell you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ That was a nice and a bit of intimate experience, since the place is not big at all, seemed to us there were a lot of locals, whom invited us - tourists whom stayed in a wrong spot first - to dance with them and to have a small chit chat.
You can find bigger Sakura fest in Japan for sure, but if you are in Nikko on that time, try it you won't regret

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view from the top of the mountain is great. There is also a monkey cage where you can feed the monkeys up close. There's also an onsen shrine up the mountain which is an hour round trip hike from rope line.
