小山田緑地からも近いので色々なルートで散策出来ます。
 It feels so good that the wind is coming off.
It is also close to Oyamada Ryokuchi, so you can take a walk along various routes.

こんな雰囲気の中を散策できる場所があったとは全然知りませんでした。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今はもう無くなってしまった、自分が子供の頃、遊んだ里山と重なることもあり、大好きな風景です。どの季節に来ても心が落ち着く場所です。
おにぎりを持って、風、草木の香り、虫の鳴き声…、ゆっくり楽しむことができる場所です。
Now that I have already gone, when I was a child, sometimes I overlap with the Satoyama I played, it is a favorite scenery. It is a place where your mind settles down in any season.
It is a place where you can enjoy rice balls, wind, smell of plants, insect roars ... and enjoy it slowly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この付近は『にほんの里100選』に選ばれた、町田市の大切な里山です。山側は縄文時代～中世の遺跡が眠りとても貴重な場所です。稲作は「NPO まちだ結の里」の方々がボランティアで高度な技:無農薬·地域伝来農法を実施され、出来たお米は町田市の学校給食にも利用されているようです。
This area is an important village in Machida City, which has been selected as one of the top 100 villages. The mountain side is a very precious place where the remains of the Jomon period to the Middle Ages fall asleep. Rice farming is highly skilled by people in "NPO Machida Yuri no Sato" as a volunteer: It has been implemented pesticide-free regional farming methods, and the resulting rice seems to be used for school lunches in Machida City.

フットパスの小道があり、小野路まで山を越えの散策を楽しむことができます。
専用の駐車場がなく、バスも本数が少ないため、アクセスに難があります。近くの都立小山田緑地に駐車場があるため、一緒に散策を楽しむのが良いでしょう。
少し奥まで進めば、東京とは思えない自然に包まれることができ、とてもリフレッシュされます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 良く整備されていて、風景がとても良いです。ここが東京だと忘れてしまいそう。谷戸とは、多摩丘陵・三浦丘陵・狭山丘陵・房総丘陵・武蔵野台地・下総台地といった関東の丘陵地・台地の縁辺部が、長い時間をかけて浸食され形成された谷状の地形は、谷戸・谷津・谷地などと呼ばれています。
奈良ばい谷戸から小野路宿へ抜け、小野路より関谷の切り通し、笠松谷戸をへて多摩よこやま道へ、里山風景を楽しめるコースを是非歩いてみてはいかがでしょうか！

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 詳細は、みなさま書いてますので感想を書きますと、牧歌的な風景が手軽に楽しめます。緩やかな里山なので、小さなお子さん連れも安心です。バイオトイレが想像以上に綺麗です。畑には入らないように気を付けて歩きましょう。
