★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大山道や御尊権御成道とも言われる古道の一里塚。
元和3年、徳川家康の棺を日光へ向けて改葬する際に使われた道で、この辺りの坂で遺骸を運ぶ車が破損した。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1617年、徳川家康の柩(遺骸)を静岡の久能山⋅東照宮から栃木の日光山⋅東照宮へ改葬(移送)するため道(御尊櫃御成道)を整備した。その時にこの一里塚も設けられたといわれている。近隣の町田市木曽町にも同様に木曽一里塚がある。この道は後に大山道とも呼ばれた。
In 1617, a path (Gosonbitsu Onari Road) was constructed to reinterpret the Tokugawa Ieyasu coffin (remain) from Kunoyama Toshogu in Shizuoka to Nikkoyama Tochigu in Tochigi. It is said that this Ichizuka was also established at that time. There is also Kiso Irizuka in Kiso Town, Machida City, which is nearby. This road was later called the Daisendo.
