もとは玉祖神社の神宮寺で、神社のそばにありました。この薗光寺の境内には高さ122㎝、幅62㎝の砂岩で作った十三仏の石造があります。下部には14人の女人の法名が刻んであり、十三仏信仰の女人講によって建立されたと考えられます。建立年代は記されていませんが、作風から桃山時代と考えられます。この付近を歩くと、途中 池・田畑・東に信貴・高安山がせまり、緑美しい景色が望めることができます。

In the precincts of Enkoji Temple is a 13-thousand Buddha stone structure made of sandstone with a height of 122 mm and a width of 62 mm. The law name of 14 women is engraved at the bottom, and it is thought that it was erected by a women's lecture of the 13 Buddhist faith. The era of construction is not written, but it is considered to be the Momoyama period from the style. If you walk around this area, you will be able to see a beautiful view of the greenery.
