★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 江戸～明治時代のかやぶき民家4棟が移築、復元されており、往時の面影を伝えます。平成18年4月1日、横手市指定有形文化財になりました。四季折々の自然の中で、先祖の知恵がちりばめられた雄物川民家苑。昔の暮らしや遊びを体験しながら、三百年の時を経た、温もりの空間に浸ることができる。
毎年２月１４日にはかまくらが作られ写真撮影会が模様され、無料で汁粉餅やお茶、漬物がふるまわれる。
撮影会には全国から大勢のカメラマンが押し寄せ賑わいを見せるが、最近は海外からのお客様も多く、古から伝わる日本の伝統文化を体験することができる為、たいへん喜ばれている。
Four thatched houses from the Edo to Meiji era have been relocated and reconstructed, giving an impression of the past. On April 1, 2006, it became a tangible cultural property designated by Yokote City. In the nature of the four seasons, Omonogawa Minkaen is studded with the wisdom of its ancestors. You can immerse yourself in a warm space that has passed 300 years, while experiencing the old days of living and playing.
Every year on February 14, a kamakura is made and a photo session is organized, and soup rice cake, tea, and pickles are served for free.
A lot of photographers from all over the country are rushing to the photo session, but recently there are many foreign visitors, and they are very pleased because they can experience traditional Japanese culture that has been passed down since ancient times.
