★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 奥殿陣屋から奥まったところにありました。何気なく歩いて行くと、なにやら『七神宮』の看板が現れました。
七福神のお社かと思ったのですが、どうやら奥殿藩の歴代藩主の霊廟のようです。それが七基あるから七神宮となっているとか。
しかし、歴代藩主たちが大きな菩提寺にあるのではなく、ひっそりと奉られていたのが少し驚きです。土塁などがあることから、居城などがあったのだろうと言う想像は出来ますが、あまりにもひっそりし過ぎて、誰の目にも止まらないのでは少し悲しい気がします。
教育委員会や文化財調査委員会などでちょっと盛り上げてはいかがでしょうか？せっかく奥殿陣屋の裏手にあるのですから。
 It was in the back of the Okutono Jinya. When I walked casually, a signboard of "Seven Jingu" appeared.
I thought it was the shrine of the Seven Lucky Gods, but it seems to be the mausoleum of the successive lords of the Okutono domain. There are seven of them, so it's a seven shrine.
However, it is a little surprising that the successive feudal lords were not in the big Bodaiji Temple, but were quietly dedicated. Since there are earthworks, I can imagine that there was a castle, but I feel a little sad if it is too quiet to catch anyone's eyes.
Why don't you get excited by the Board of Education or the Cultural Properties Investigation Committee? It's behind the Okutono Jinya.
