昭和10年 当時片倉製糸工場内にあった、
金和神社を遷宮 改称した。
朝来市役所の裏にあって、
朝の散歩の最適空間という感じだった。
社殿の左側（南側）は山で、
木が多く良い雰囲気。
境内には遊具もあったりして、
子供たちの遊び場としても使われているのだろう。
JR西日本 山陰本線 播但線の
和田山駅から徒歩5分程度の位置。
