H	Hiromi Ueno on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ドラゴンフルーツが特産品らしいのですが、GWに訪れたので、残念ながら時季外れでした。それ以外の土産物（伝統工芸品や菓子等）は皆無です。販売店もありません。酒屋とスーパーはありますが…。良い温泉旅館、民宿はけっこうあります。ホテルは無く、あくまでも和風の温泉地です。 Dragon Fruit seems to be a specialty, but unfortunately it was off season because I visited GW. There are no other souvenirs (traditional crafts, sweets, etc.). There is no dealer. There are liquor stores and supermarkets. There are good hot spring inn and guest houses. There is no hotel, it is a Japanese-style hot spring resort to the last.

g	gifuto2299 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 近くに何かと有名な平湯温泉があってＰＲ上苦戦しますが、奥飛騨の風情を残した温泉宿（大半が民宿で1泊2食付きで一人7500円～）が点在します。当地は平湯温泉や新穂高温泉（旧名：槍見温泉）より新しく整備され宿泊料金も安いが温泉地というより奥飛騨のトンボが飛びカエルが鳴く山村であり、蒲田川沿いの温泉地である。昨今は高齢化に伴い食事付き宿より、ひなびた湯治場としての宿も可能と聞く。湯量は豊富であり24時間入浴可能で、交渉次第によっては、朝食付きで湯治することもできるかもしれません。 There is a famous Hirayu Onsen nearby and there is a struggle for PR, but there are hot spring inns that retain the taste of Okuhida (mostly minshuku with half board and 7,500 yen per person). This area is newer than Hirayu Onsen and Shinhotaka Onsen (formerly Yarimi Onsen), and is cheaper, but it is a mountain village where Okuhida's dragonflies fly and frogs sing, rather than a hot spring area, and it is a hot spring area along the Kamata River. In recent years, we have heard that with the aging of the population, it is possible to use a hot spring facility as a spa, rather than a hotel with meals. The amount of hot water is abundant and you can take a bath for 24 hours, and depending on negotiations, you may be able to cure with breakfast.
J	Jeremy Lee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice valley for a leisurely walk. There are a couple of public thermal foot baths in the area. I visited the one that is about a 50m North East from this marker on the same side of the road. Water from more easterly location is very hot. Be careful. There are signs there in Japanese probably warning of geyser activity a the site. The public foot baths are on the right just beside the car park.
