こちらは葛城から山城へ遷移したいわゆる山城鴨、八咫烏系鴨の女神、玉依媛若しくは伊可古夜日女を祀っています。
西高安の賀茂神社の祭神を別雷神としてこちらも八咫烏系鴨の神社とする考えは、両社の鎮座地一帯が神武天皇の上陸地・草香江に近く、神武天皇を先導したのが八咫烏である事。奈良時代に土佐より高鴨神復祀に力を貸してくれた道鏡所縁の地が近在する等色々な点で興味深いものがあります。
