It's a shame because it is a historical temple but it hasn't been maintained. It is said that Ieyasu practiced a bow when Ieyasu was called Chichiyo at the temple that controls the demon gate to the northeast of Okazaki Castle. The rock that Ieyasu sat on for a break is called Toraishi, which is also the name of the area, but it may be hard to find because it is confused by weeds. Well, it's a really disappointing temple.

It is a historical temple with a connection to Ieyasu. However, it seems that it was almost completely destroyed by the air raid, and that it has not been maintained a little now ... Excuse me, but to be honest, I felt a little lonely because I didn't feel dirty. This temple was built in 1566 in Eiroku 9 with the aim of the labor of Taiou Keidake, who was the mediator of Tokugawa Ieyasu's official position. After that, Ieyasu was forgiven and returned from Matsudaira to Tokugawa, and was entrusted to Mikawa Mamoru, proclaiming his position as the ruler of Mikawa Province to the world, and Ieyasu was a warring lord in both name and reality at the age of 25. I was able to join the ranks of. (Taio was born in Okazaki, passed through Daijuuji Temple and Seiganji Temple in Kyoto, and returned to Okazaki during Eiroku to serve as a missionary. Ieyasu settled Mikawa in Eiroku 9 (1566) and settled Mikawa in Ogimachi. ) I asked the emperor to play the official position, but he was refused because the birth was not clear. There, a white arrow stood on Taioh, who was working at Seiganji Temple in Kyoto, and Konoe Sakihisa Fujiwara Maehisa and Kanesumi Yoshida, who are closely related to Kyoto Seiganji Temple through Taioh, are now offered a bribe every year. It is said that in the form of a gift, the family line of the Marikoji family was rewritten and asked for permission from the government. ) In the precincts of this temple, there is a stone called "Toraishi", which became the name of the place. The origin of the name of this stone is ... Ieyasu, who was called "Tora-doji" when he was young, was practicing bows here, and at that time he often sat down on this stone and rested, so it came to be called "Tora-ishi". Was Next, the reason why Ieyasu was called a tiger child ... When Ieyasu's mother, Odai, visited Horaiji Temple, Ieyasu was awarded the "Year of the Tiger, Day of the Tiger, Time of the Tiger". And, strangely, from that time, among the statues of the twelve gods who protect the Yakushi Nyorai of Horaiji, only the statue of the god called Tora-doji disappeared suddenly and returned to the place where Ieyasu died. There is also. It is said that the Fuzoan tea room of Ryukei, a tea master who revived the monk edition, was also located on the east side of the gate. However, most of them, including the main hall of the temple, were destroyed by air raids. The "Daijizo", which had been worshiped before the war, was also damaged and burned down, but even now, in the middle of the graveyard, the area below the platform on which the Dajizo was riding remains firmly as a symbol of the scars of the war. I will. In addition, a temple bell is placed at the entrance of the temple. It is said that the "bell of time" of Okazaki Castle, which was built in the third year of Tenpo (1646), was worshiped around the Meiji era. He was co-sponsored in the war and was lucky enough to return after the war, but the crown was damaged and is still on the ground. And in the eastern corner of the temple, there is Suwa Shrine, which is said to have been solicited by Nobutada Matsudaira, the lord of Okazaki Castle at that time, in 1523.
