樹々のざわめきと渓流の流れる音を聴きながらの湯は心身共に癒されます
今日日宿泊で温泉代150円するご時世に、日帰り230円は破格過ぎ
熱いという意見もある中、私が行ったときはちょっとぬるめのいい湯でした
30度は越えるかという夏の日だったので、この温度はありがたかった
夫婦kappaの像が見守る中、滝行をすることも可

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今はコロナウイルスはやりのなかで訪れる人は少ないですが風間浦の災害で小赤川橋が崩落したのもあり今まで通行制限がかかっていたせいで観光する人も少ないです。9月13日から一般通行もできるようになりました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 眺めが最高。通常は熱めの湯のようですが、訪問時は前の人が加水してくれたようで程よくぬるくなっていて気持ちよく入浴出来ました。
自然の中の温泉でありシャンプー・石鹸類は使用不可です。
時間が有り、体や頭も洗いたいなら、①かっぱの湯（時間別男女入替え制）→②夫婦かっぱの湯（時間帯により①②の順序入替え。男女のグループなら①と②の順番を逆にして奥薬研修景公園レストハウスの休憩エリアで集合）→③かっぱふれあいの湯（老人福祉センター:シャンプー・石鹸類は設置してないけど使用可。料金は夫婦かっぱの湯と同じ）の欲張りコースもお勧めです。

露天大浴槽（男女別） 屋根なし たぶん20人くらいなら余裕で入れそう
更衣室 小屋になっていて周りから見えません。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 薬研渓流の奥に進むと奥薬研温泉があります。こちらは野趣溢れる露天風呂です。脱衣所くらいしかなく他には何も無い少し苔も生えている自然の中にある温泉で解放感抜群！
ただし苔が生えていたりで足元が滑りやすくなっているので要注意。無色透明のクセのない単純温泉になっています。大人230円で子供110円とリーズナブルに利用出来ます。足湯も２ヶ所在り足湯は無料で利用出来るのが嬉しい限りです。タオルなど無い方や時間に余裕の無い方でも足湯を気軽に楽しめるのは嬉しいものです。
薬研温泉自体は大きなホテルの廃墟があったり営業しているのは小さな民宿のような温泉宿で活気はありませんが散策の後に立ち寄るのもありです。

道中の山間の道路は除雪されているとはいえ、所々道幅が狭かったり見通しが悪いところがあるので安全運転をして下さい。
浴場は自然保護の観点から石鹸やシャンプー類は使用禁止です。桶があるので、かけ湯はできます。脱衣場に貴重品置場はありません。スタッフに相談すれば保管してくれるのかも（私は車に置いてきたのでわかりません）
石作りの浴槽は景観と合い、湧き出る湯滝の音を聞きながら、川の流れや雲の流れを見ながら何も考えず、ぼーっと温泉を味わえます。
ベンチで外気浴する時も、やや冷んやりする風が心地良いです。
現在はコロナ禍の影響もあり、ある程度落ち着くまでは地元の方以外は初回のみのご利用をお願いしているそうです。早く環境に適応して、皆が普通に生活できるようになればと思います。

Soap and shampoo are prohibited in the bathhouse from the viewpoint of nature maintenance. There is a tub, so you can use hot water. There is no valuables storage area in the dressing room. Maybe if you talk to the staff, they will keep it (I don't know because I left it in the car)
The stone bathtub matches the scenery, and you can enjoy the hot springs while listening to the sound of the spring waterfall and watching the flow of the river and clouds without thinking about anything.
Even when bathing in the open air on the bench, the slightly cool breeze is comfortable.
Currently, due to the influence of Corona's disaster, it seems that only the first time use is requested except for locals until it calms down to some extent. I hope to adapt to the environment as soon as possible so that everyone can live normally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雄大な自然に抱かれて、湯の落ちる音。鳥のさえずり。眼下には緩やかな流れの川。を感じて露天風呂に入る。この一体感。最高です。お湯も温めでのんび～りできます。
たった２３０円でこの体験ができるんです。最高じゃないですか。露天風呂しかありませんが、素晴らしい価値があります。近くにあったら通いたい。
洗い場はありません。自然を守る為に、シャンプー、せっけん等は使用禁止です。
ロッカーもありません。貴重品は持ってこないほうがいいでしょう。
脱衣所に洗面器があるので、入浴前にしっかり身体を流しましょう。
風の強い時はタオルや洗面器が飛ばされないように注意。
トイレもありませんから、レストハウスで済ませてからどうぞ。
2021.7 再来
やっぱりいい。平日に休みを取って片道２時間半かけて来る価値はある。自然に囲まれた露天風呂独り占め。最高の贅沢。たまにしか来れないが、最近の楽しみです。

2021.7 Return
After all it is good. It's worth taking a weekday break and spending two and a half hours each way. An open-air bath surrounded by nature. The best luxury. I can only come here once in a while, but I'm looking forward to it these days.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年3月 マスク着用の熊さんに迎えられ、川に面した露天風呂への道中、３頭のサルが逃げていった！ まさかサルと混浴するのかと恐るおそる風呂場への扉を開けると、誰も居なかった。 中々趣きのある良いお風呂ですよ。
In March 2021, three monkeys escaped on the way to the open-air bath facing the river, greeted by a bear wearing a mask! When I opened the door to the bathroom, I was afraid that I would be mixed with monkeys, and no one was there. It's a nice and quaint bath.
