ハワイ・マウイ島にある３，０００メートルを越える火山がハレアカラです。
上の写真がハレアカラからの眺めです。
「太陽の家」とも言われ、マウイ島起源のもとでもあります。
アミューが入っている建物も「太陽の家」のように、大きなエネルギー、笑顔、光（目標）がめぐる場所になっています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 私は引っ込み思案でなかなか自分から行動できないですが、アミューの職員さんに相談して支援してくれるお陰で就職もでき、ちょっとづつ外に行動していくことが出来ました。
 I can't act on my own because of my withdrawal thoughts, but thanks to the support I received from the Amu staff, I was able to get a job and act out little by little.

スタッフさんやメンバーさんもとても優しい方ばかりなので、初めての方でも、新しい環境に慣れ、馴染むまで安心して過ごすことができます。
私自身、人と関わるのが苦手で、最初の一歩が踏み出せずにいましたが、勇気をだして最初の一歩を踏み出し、「就労移行支援事業所 アミュー」にきたことを、今でも誇りに思います。
就職を目指したい方、変わりたいという想いがある方に、特におすすめしたい そんな素敵な場所です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 自分は、アミューに来るまでは家に引き篭もりがちでなかなか外に出て行動をする事がなくネガティブに物事を考えてしまいがちだったのですが、アミューに来て色々と自分自身に変化が起き最初の1年目は生活訓練の方を利用していて作業はできていたものの今程自信もなく自分から話しに行くなどのコミュニケーションがある程度のことしかできなかったのですが、今は就労移行支援の方に変わり1年程が経ち今では質問されたらまた自分から聞き返したり自分から積極的にコミュニケーションを取れる程自信がつき外に出て行動する機会も増え、趣味もたくさん増え分からない事や悩み事がある場合でも一緒に職員さんと相談し合える程変わりました。また実習先の方でも分からないことがあれば自分から積極的に従業員の方に報告、連絡、相談をすることができいろんな事に挑戦していくことができるようになり新しい自分とも出会う事が出来ました。
『あなたが今変わろうとしているその勇気と行動が次のクライエントへ間接的に繋がっていきそして自分自身にもより良い影響を与えてくれるのです。』
