★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 杉沢にすんでいた今野孫兵衛氏によって作られたトンネル。
昭和24年4月に着工し、同年10月31日に開通した平津と杉沢北を結ぶトンネルです。町道杉沢本線を遊佐中学校側から杉沢側に向かうと右側にせり出した山があり、そのあたりにあります。雑草が生い茂っているため、スピードを落として右側に注目しないとわかりにくいです。
以前は両方から見れたようですが、杉沢側の入口は落石防護網がなされています。

It is a tunnel connecting Hiratsu and Sugisawa Kita, which started construction in April 1945 and opened on October 31 of the same year. If you go from the Yuza Junior High School side to the Sugisawa side on the town road Sugisawa Main Line, there is a mountain that protrudes to the right, and it is around that. Weeds are overgrown, so it's difficult to understand unless you slow down and pay attention to the right side.
It seems that it was seen from both sides before, but the entrance on the Sugisawa side has a rockfall protection net.
