★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 最寄り駅です。新駅舎になってから初めて訪れました。以前より広くなってくつろげそう。
花輪線は本数が非常に少ないので利便性にかけるけど、車窓からの眺めが良いので
バスも好きなんだけどこちらを利用しています。
付近には何もなくて時間を潰そうにも本当に何にもない！何もないから読書したり、スマホいじったり…
またお世話になります。
 The nearest station. I visited for the first time since it became a new station building. It seems to be wider than before.
The number of garland lines is very small, so it is convenient, but the view from the car window is good.
I like buses but I use this one.
There is nothing in the vicinity and there is really nothing to kill time! I have nothing to read and play with my smartphone ...

駅窓口の機能は以前とかわらず、近距離きっぷ券売機、みどりの窓口があります。
盛岡方面への乗り場へは、以前と同じようにスロープを、通って移動する必要が、あります。
23/02/2018 New station building and free passage are available.
The function of the station window is the same as before, and there are a short-distance ticket vending machine and a green window.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1985年8月。駅寝したくて駅員さんに相談したら。静かだからとホーム内の待合室を薦められ。もう一人サイクリストだったな。ぼくより年長の人がいて。イビキがうるさいからとホームでテントを張った。夜中にウシガエルの鳴く声を聞いた。
翌朝八幡平行きのバスに乗ると。運転手さんが銀紙にくるんだおにぎりをくれた。ひどい格好をしていたんだね。
August 1985. If you want to sleep at the station and consult with a station employee. A waiting room in the home is recommended because it is quiet. I was another cyclist. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ずいぶん立派な駅になりましたね。ちょっと花輪線には似合わないような気もして、古い駅がなつかしく複雑な気持ちです。自由に無料で借りることの出来る本のコーナーはまだあるのかな？よく借りたり、寄付したりしてました。
It has become a very good station. I feel like it doesn't suit the Hanawa Line, and I miss the old station and feel complicated. Is there still a book corner that you can borrow for free? I often borrowed and donated.
