★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 毎年、横浜から干支の置物と個性豊かな動物など買いにいってます。家にはライオン、熊、カモノハシ、牛、玄関に賑わっています。昨年は犬と箸置きなど買いました。ヒラメ、マンボウ個性的できにいってます。お店が移転しましたが、また置物など買いに行きたいです。
 Every year, I go to Yokohama to buy zodiac figurines and unique animals. The house is full of lions, bears, platypus, cows and the front door. Last year I bought a dog and a chopstick rest. Flounder and sunfish are unique. The shop has moved, but I would like to go buy figurines again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 千葉の道の駅三芳村鄙の里にて偶然作品をみました。
独特のセンスで作られた動物たちの陶器は、見ているだけで表情筋が緩みそうな可愛さがあります。
しかしただ可笑しい感じではなく、その動物の特徴を引き出すために、安易に着色とか用いず、釉薬の使い方を工夫したり鉄釉？でしょうか、くどく無い技法を用いることで、楽しさと侘しさのようなものを両在させています。
もともとは千葉県の南房で工房を30年やっていたようですが、すこし東京からのアクセスが遠のきました。東京都で展示会があれば行きたいですね。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 以前は南房総に工房を構えられていましたが、2019年より笠間に移転されました。使いやすく優しい雰囲気の器や、コロンとしたフォルムがたまらなく可愛いオブジェなど、ご夫婦で製作されています。手にする人の事を考えて、とても丁寧におつくりになられている事が伝わってくる素敵な作品ばかりです。まだ未見の方は、是非一度現物を手に取ってご覧になられることをお勧めいたします。
