★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 観音堂正面左手側の巨岩で長野市民新聞(2018.03.03)には、高さ20Mで三峯山(麻績村千曲市)の姨捨側の地滑りによって現在地に運ばれた安山岩質火山角礫岩だと云う記事がございます。姥石の頂手前には小さな祠も祀ってあります。頂からの眺望も素晴らしい。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長楽寺観音堂の脇にあるゴツゴツした大きな岩です。ちょっと怖かったのですが、頂上から観る善光寺平の眺めは素晴らしかったです。
