★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大昔の話ですが…友達と会津に旅行に行った時にこの近くを通りました。小雨の降る薄暗い日に……カーナビなど無い時代で、ガイドブックを見ながらの旅でしたが、何度も何度も同じ道を通ってしまうんです? そして何度も『駒止湿原』の看板の前を通ってしまうんです。『駒止』＝馬の足を止めてしまう？会津地方と言えば鶴ヶ城・白虎隊と戦の歴史がありますよね。『ここも…昔の武士とかが馬で渡ろうとしてたんじゃない？』『ケガしててここで立ち往生して…息絶えた人もいるんじゃないの？』とみんなで怖くなって必死に車を走らせました?
まぁこれはあくでも私達の想像だったんですけどね? 確か駒止湿原の看板に何かいろいろ書いてあったみたいでしたので、どなたかきちんと読んだ方、事の真相を教えてください?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 初めて駒止湿原に行ってきました。想像以上に広く多様な植物があり驚いています。丁度ワタスゲが白い花を着けて湿原に咲いていました。これからニッコーキスゲが咲くそうです。
I went to Komagome Marsh for the first time. I am surprised that there are a wider variety of plants than I imagined. Watasuge was just blooming in the marsh with white flowers. It seems that Nikko Kisuge will bloom from now on.

国道401から冷湖の霊泉通っていきます
砂利道長々通りますがとてもよい場所です

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ カキツバタ？は見頃 ニッコウキスゲが咲き始め ワダスゲはピーク過ぎ ツツジやシャクナゲも咲いていました 広い湿原ですが 木道沿いに花はあまりなく 立ち入り禁止の遠い場所に咲き乱れている感じ
景色がとても良く別天地ですね

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年5月30日〜南会津(針生地区)側から通行止め解除。南郷側は通行止め継続。木道の破損箇所は有りますが、注意して歩けば問題無し。6月中旬はミズバショウ終わってワタスゲ見頃でした。これから見頃になるニッコウキスゲが咲き出してました。熊?出没注意で熊鈴必携です。
