★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「八百津」と聞いたら何を連想するでしょうか？「杉原千畝・久田見の山車・丸山ダム・蔵元・醸造元・栗きんとん」など様々だと思いますが、忘れていけないのが「せんべい」かなり歴史のある地場産業らしく、かつては製造元も沢山あったらしい。今はそうでもない様だが、直売店は、しばしば見かけます。こちらの「八百津せんべい本舗」は、昔ながらの「瓦せんべい」や「みそせんべい」に加えて「玄米せんべい」などの、オリジナリティーに溢れた創作せんべいを製造。今回は、その「玄米せんべい」と、定番の「みそせんべい」を購入。日本人ならやはり、お茶うけには「せんべい」かな？(笑) 因みに店内に展示してある巨大せんべいは、イベント用に特別に作ったものなんだそうです。
What do you think of when you hear Yaotsu? I think that there are various things such as "Sugihara Chiune, Hisadami floats, Maruyama dam, Kuramoto, brewer, chestnut kinton", but what you must not forget is "Senbei" which seems to be a local industry with a long history, and there were many manufacturers in the past It seems. It seems that is not the case now, but I often see direct sales stores. Here "Yaotsu crackers Honpo" is, such as old-fashioned "Kawarasenbei" and in addition to the "miso rice cracker", "brown rice crackers", production creative cracker full of originality. This time, I bought the “brown rice cracker” and the classic “Miso rice cracker”. Is Japanese still a “senbei” for tea? (Laughs) By the way, the huge rice crackers displayed in the store seem to be specially made for the event.
