 It is possible to get in by car. Turn left at the gate and stop at the precincts.

いつもは車から眺めるだけなのですが立派な門や五重塔を間近で拝見しました

I usually only look at it from the car, but I saw the magnificent gate and the five-storied pagoda up close.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 立派な山門は日泰寺に相応しい造りとなっています。(以下ホームページから)
「山門」 1986年（昭和61年）完成
・両脇の二体の像は、高さ4.5m、楠一木造りで、向かって右側には阿難尊者（釈尊の弟子で晩年侍者として仕えて最後を看取った）、左側には迦葉尊者（仏弟子の最長老で釈尊滅後の仏教教団を率いて二祖となった）が立っている。製作は円鍔勝三先生（平成元年）

・ The two statues on both sides are 4.5m high and made of Kusunoki Ichiki. On the right side is the Acolyte (a disciple of Sakyamuni who served as a samurai in his later years and took care of the last), and on the left side is Takeshi Kasya. (The oldest Buddha disciple who led the Buddhist sect after the extinction of Buddha and became the second ancestor) stands. Produced by Dr. Katsuzo Enji (1989)

The car runs clockwise through this gate. Pedestrians can pass through the central part of the gate. A place where both pedestrians and car drivers must be careful.
