★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 築城年代は定かではないが不破道広によって築かれたといわれる。 不破府中城にいた不破道広が西保に城を築いて移ったといい、孫の不破光治は安藤守就の妹を妻として後に織田信長に仕えた。
 It is said that the castle was built by Fuwa Michihiro, although the age of the castle is unknown. It is said that Fuwa Mitsuharu, who was in Fuwa Fuchu Castle, built a castle in Nishiho and moved to it, and his grandson Fuwa Mitsuharu later served Nobunaga Oda with Ando Morinari's younger sister as his wife.
