It is a very quiet and dignified shrine of air. I arrived after 9 o'clock on weekdays. It's not a lively shrine, but even so, worshipers came in the form of several groups being replaced. It was fun because there was a museum in the precincts and there were many precincts companies. The priest at the office was also very kind. Due to the corona sickness, the red stamp is written down, "I'm saying I'm calm down, but ... for the time being ..." he said apologetically. After that, I got happiness protection, and I also pulled the fortune-telling ... He gave me a small amulet in the photo, saying, "May I have something good." I was very happy! By the way ... I forgot to break the money into coins this time and gave me 1000 yen for various things ... (I used to use only electronic money) It seems better to buy it with coins as much as possible. "There aren't many people coming," he said, and he bothered the priest with a little change ...

It enshrines Nishinashinmeigu, one of the three major shrines of Nishina, and Amaterasu Omikami, and the main shrine is the oldest Shinmei-zukuri in Japan. It lasted for 600 years until the Edo period to welcome the Shintai at a new shrine, and since the cost of building it after that was only repaired, the ancient style still exists and is designated as a national treasure (main shrine and central gate). That's a strange process, isn't it? It seems that the Nishina area was originally an area dedicated to the agricultural products offered to Ise Jingu, and sake is miki (familiar omiki), rice, salt, vegetables, seafood, etc. ), It seems that the offering of God is called Shinsen, and even the name is divine. It is a scenic power spot that sits in a place overlooking the Northern Alps mountain range and is greeted by a large cedar tree that is over 800 years old (estimated). Beyond the first torii gate, there is a large free parking lot, and there is also a clean toilet attached. In addition, the three major shrines of Nishina are Wakaichi Oji Shrine (Omachi) and Hotaka Shrine (Azumino City).

The main shrine (main shrine, middle gate, fishing shop) is before Kanei and is a national treasure as the oldest Shinmei-zukuri. There was a dignified feeling in the precincts and it was good to be able to worship.

It is the oldest Shinmei-zukuri shrine in Japan, which is a national treasure, but it was convincing that it was surrounded by huge cedar trees and left its shape in the Shikinen-sai construction from the early Edo period. When you first be surprised at the size of the three cedars and head toward the main shrine, you will feel sacred and go up the stairs to worship in front of the worship hall. The size of the old Shinboku is amazing, but the surrounding trees are tall, so I feel like I've entered a different world.

The serenity and beauty of the surrounding Sugi Tree gardens coupled with the constant sound of running water is absolutely out of this world. The stately Sugi trees surrounding the shrine is also a sight to behold. What is most interesting though is the architecture of the shrine is a Japanese invention, it goes back to approximately 1800 years ago before Buddhism came to Japan and it's Chinese form of architecture. This shrine predates the Ise Jinja in Mie ken and the structure is made entirely of Sugi trees unpainted and planed. The jinja is dedicated to the goddess Amaterasu and this is evident in the criss crossed timber with the edges cut horizontal to the ground. You can buy some carp food and feed the carp.
