★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 館の内という地名のとおり、仁科氏の居館があったところです。居館跡の看板が出てる場所はもう少し先の公民館のところですが、周囲に土塁を廻らす大規模な館であったようですが、今はすっかり宅地のなかに埋もれています。ここは農具川が削る河岸段丘上の要害で眼下に大町を望み街道も抑える要地ですが、その後の仁科氏の隆盛に伴いより便利で街道と町を抑えられる今の天正寺がある場所へ進出して行ったのでしょうか。小さな社で町中の小公園といった雰囲気です。
