★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 14時頃、2名で訪問しました。静岡は日本平の頂上に位置する「日本平ホテル」のテラスラウンジでアフタヌーンティーセットを堪能しました。
ホテルのコンセプトは「風景美術館」、エントランスを通り抜け、ロビーへ進むと巨大な壁面ガラス越しに、圧倒的な美しさスケールで迫りくる日本一の山、富士山。
新幹線から遠目に眺めたことしかなかったんですが、より近くで見ると圧倒的存在感で美しいです。
巨大ガラス窓の額縁に切り取られ、まさに絵画のような美しさの富士を眺めながら、優雅なアフタヌーンティーが頂けるのが、この「ザ・テラス」です。
大きなソファにゆったりと腰をおろし、まずは風景を楽しみましょう。
程なくしてアフタヌーンティーが運ばれてきます。

★オータムアフタヌーンティーセット
（税サ込3,800円）
秋の美味しいものをふんだんに盛り込み、目と舌で季節の訪れを感じられるアフタヌーンティーセットです。
3段トレーでの提供になり、上段トレーには季節のゼリーとモンブラン載っています。
中段トレーにはスコーン、葡萄のムースを使ったケーキ、葡萄のショートケーキ、チョコレートケーキという構成です。
下段トレーはサンドイッチとピクルスが載っています。
コーヒーと紅茶は勿論、おかわり自由でたっぷりそしてゆっくりと風景を楽しみながらリラックスできますね。
【総評】
コンセプトである「風景美術館」の名の通り、眼前の自然と圧倒的な存在感を放つ富士山の美しさを感じました。
新幹線からだと分からないんですが、ああやっぱり日本一の山なんだなと思わされます。
手前に見える山々の稜線から突出して高く大きく、気高さすら感じます。
そこで味わうアフタヌーンティーセットは格別の味わいでした。御馳走でした。
Around 14:00, we visited with two people. Shizuoka enjoyed the afternoon tea set at the terrace lounge of "Nippondaira Hotel" located at the top of Nihondaira.
The concept of the hotel is "Scenery Museum", passing through the entrance and advancing to the lobby, Mt. Fuji, Japan's number one mountain approaching on an overwhelming beauty scale through a huge wall glass.
I had only seen it from a distance from the Shinkansen, but when I looked closer, it had an overwhelming presence and was beautiful.
This "The Terrace" is a place where you can enjoy an elegant afternoon tea while looking at the picturesque Mt. Fuji, which is cut out in the frame of a huge glass window.
Sit back on the big sofa and enjoy the scenery first.

An afternoon tea set that includes plenty of delicious autumn food and allows you to feel the arrival of the season with your eyes and tongue.
It is offered in a 3-tier tray, and the upper tray has seasonal jelly and Montblanc.
The middle tray consists of scones, grape mousse cakes, grape shortcakes, and chocolate cakes.
The lower tray has sandwiches and pickles.
Not to mention coffee and tea, you can relax while enjoying the scenery with plenty of free refills.

As the name of the concept "Scenery Museum" suggests, I felt the beauty of Mt. Fuji, which gives off an overwhelming presence with the nature in front of me.
I don't know if it's from the Shinkansen, but I think it's the highest mountain in Japan.
It is tall and big, protruding from the ridgeline of the mountains in the foreground, and even feels noble.
The afternoon tea set I tasted there was exceptional. It was a treat.
