The experience was awesome. The area around the caves is beautiful. Inside the caves it is cold and wet so bring a sweater or something warm and maybe a raincoat. Once inside it really cool. You go from bending over and squeezing through tight areas to what looks to be a massive dome type area. Being 181cm is not ideal but it was definitely worth it.

Nice experience in this cave. If you are tall be careful at your head xD It tooks around 40mins to see all areas.

A colorful and musical limestone cave. As the largest cave in the Kanto region, Nippara Limestone Caves attract a lot of tourists each year.

A must visit place in Saitama. It’s a pretty long limestone cave. Please take a photo of the map after your enter the cave. It would be very easy to travel through the cave with the that photo(cave map)

Cave is pretty cool but driving here solely for this does not warrant the time spent in the car. Roads leading to here is narrow, and is really out of the way (even speaking from the fact that I was visiting mt mitake before this), I still found it to be true. You probably take about 20 odd minutes to explore the cave in its entirety but I find the lack of English description and tour reduce the satisfaction of the trip. You probably don't understand everything that was written and there is just no context to the caves unless you did some reading before.

It was a little bit underwhelming. It's more of a cave, and you only got to see a few spots with actual limestones forming, and those spots were fenced up with chicken wire so taking pictures were practically impossible. It would have been a lot more impressive if I went in to see a cave. The temperature in the cave is pretty static at 10ish degrees, if you're visiting in the summer you might want to bring a jacket with you.
