★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 参道ふもとの農家の方からは「氏神さま」とよばれ、生活の近いところにお有りになる模様。きらやかな社ではないがとてもきれいにされている。
他方で大国主大神がお籠りになられた岩間までは原生の姿を感じる小山が。社から裏山をあがる道中に倒木があり、また足場は良くはないのでお気をつけください。
個人的に興味深かったのは、磐座信仰を思わせる巨石に沿いそびえる大木の根が蛇のようにソソロと岩上をはっているようにみえたコト。
大国主大神はところによるとスサノオノミコト系譜にて蛇（龍や水神とも）として表現されることもあるそうで、それを思い出さずにはいられませんでした。
Farmers at the foot of the approach to the shrine call it "Ujigami-sama," and it seems that they will be located near their daily lives. It's not a glittering company, but it's very clean.
On the other hand, there is a small mountain where you can feel the original appearance up to Iwama, where Okuninushi Okuninushi was in a cage. Please note that there are fallen trees on the way up the mountain from the company and the scaffolding is not good.
Personally, I was interested in the fact that the roots of a large tree that rises along a megalith reminiscent of the Iwakura faith seemed to hang on the rocks like a snake.
Okuninushi Okami is sometimes described as a snake (also known as a dragon or a water god) in the Susano Onomikoto lineage, and I couldn't help but remember that.

石見交通「中市橋」バス停の脇道から上がります。
車は県道31号線の空地に駐車した方が良いです。
『御子森の窟（みこもりのいわや）』は、「八千矛山大国主神社」の右横から山道を徒歩約10分登ったら着きます。道は不明瞭で分かりづらいです。
窟の前には、津和野藩士の野之口隆正の歌が刻まれた石碑（文久三年）があります。
岩窟の石段を約2メートル降りると、大人が5～6人入れる空間があります。

Go up from the side road of the Iwami Kotsu "Nakaichibashi" bus stop.
You should park your car in the open area of prefectural road 31.
You can reach "Mikomori no Iwaya" by walking about 10 minutes on the mountain path from the right side of "Yachizashiyama Daikoku Shrine". The road is unclear and difficult to understand.
In front of the cave is a stone monument (3rd year of Bunkyu) engraved with the song by Takamasa Nonoguchi of the Tsuwano clan.
If you get off the stone steps of the rock cave about 2 meters, there is a space for 5 to 6 adults.
