ここにある記念碑の場所で地元に住む松戸太郎さんという方が20世紀の初頭に新種の梨の木を発見して未来を見据えて二十世紀梨と名付けたそうです。
取り立てて変わった遊具などは有りませんが、大橋小学校やグラウンドに隣接しているため、いつも子供たちの声で賑わっています。子供を連れて散歩がてら行ってみると意外と楽しめます。

It is said that Mr. Taro Matsudo, who lives in a local area at the monument site here, discovered a new kind of pear tree at the beginning of the 20th century and named it a twentieth century pear with an eye on the future.
