★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 白山小学校のグラウンド脇にポンプ車器具置場があります。白山分団は新潟市消防団中央方面隊に所属し、音楽文化会館、県民会館、新潟市民芸術文化会館、新潟県政記念館、白山神社、新潟地方裁判所、新潟市役所などの重要施設を守っています。
白山分団は白山小学校区の防火活動の他、出初式、ポンプ車操法訓練、防火広報、高齢者防火指導訪問、中央方面隊合同訓練、水防訓練、地域の防災訓練への協力などを行なっています。
白山分団は方面隊が出来る前、「西第二分団」という名前でした。新潟島五ケ分団の一つです。
