★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Myorenji Temple is a Nichiren Shoshu Buddhist Temple. This temple dates back to the 13th century. It is beautifully maintained and is in-service today. Visiting Myorenji Temple really makes you feel like you are going back in time to the 13th century. Very beautiful, peaceful and the real thing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are Nichiren Shoshu budist, you have to visit this temple. It is very special to me. Reverend Urushibata will welcome you and direct the Gongyo ceremony. You can also ask for toba. I always feel a peaceful sensation when I am here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very historic and beautiful temple. This temple was established before Taisekiji ( the building has been reconstructed several times over the 700 years period.) All nichiren shoshu member should find an opportunity to come visit and chant w/ Rev. Urushibata . The main chanting hall is quite intimate and small . likely to fit only about 20 people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderfully atmospheric Nichiren Shoshu temple. Not only famous for being the house of Nanjo Tokimitsu but also has Nichiren Daishonin and Nikko Shonin Gohonzons enshrined. Chanting here was serene and enlightening
