★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 正岡子規の庵への道、芋坂にある団子屋であんこ1本、焼き1本を食べる。素朴な味でとてもうまい。あんこ3本、焼き2本をお土産に買う。もしかしたら、この味だけが、子規や漱石のころと同じかもしれない。
子規の日記に、妹と一緒にここで団子を食べた話が載っている。あん2本と焼き1本食べたとある。“我輩は猫である”には、安くて美味しい団子として紹介されている。
秋山真之は、日露戦争終了後、子規宅の玄関まで訪れる。玄関先から中に入らず、そのまま西へ3キロほどにある田端の大龍寺の子規の墓に向かう。

After the Russo-Japanese War, Akiyama Masayuki visits the entrance to Shiki's house. Without going inside from the entrance, head straight to Shiki's grave at Dairyuji Temple in Tabata, about 3 km west.
