★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came here on a public holiday Monday at 4pm. Place was relatively busy but not really bad.
It's a decent onsen with a steam and dry sauna. The outside baths are great but it's somewhat small.
They have two larger outside baths and two on the inside - they also have numerous smaller baths.
Cost is reasonable at under 900 yen for adults and 500 for kids over 3.
Cash only.

Straight-Up Japan on Google
★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s decent and well priced less than 1,000 yen for access to the baths. They have a steam room and sauna with lots of heat (which is good) and an outside area.
You must bring your own towel or pay for a rental towel it’s about 300 yen.
There are no English instructions and no staff can assist you in English, so it might be difficult if you can’t speak Japanese.
We were happy to stop off here after a long cycle around lake Teganuma.
I’d recommend it :)
