アイスや飲み物も売ってるし、涼しいのでかなり快適です
しかし、結構くねくねした道を上るので、車酔いするかも
望遠鏡に触るところが、少ないのでちょっとがっかりするかも

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 主力の188cm反射(イギリス・グロップ社製)はドームに見学用の通路(階段を含む)があり、ガラス越しにドーム内を見学できる。休日も見学できるが、梅雨時の6月頃に反射鏡をメッキしなおすため、その間は見学できない。(ちなみにこの赤道儀、自動制御に改造してあるが、壁にあるハンドルを軽く回すと手動で動かすこともできて愉快だ) 91cm反射(ニコン製)など、他の望遠鏡のドームは狭く、一般の見学はできない。(引率者のいる少人数のグループなら事前申し込みで見学可能なことも) ふもとに浅口市立の岡山天文博物館があり、プラネタリウムや各種展示、グッズ販売などが行われている。
The main 188 cm reflection (made by Grop, UK) has a walkway (including stairs) in the dome and you can tour inside the dome through the glass. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 標高372mと意外に低い山ですが天文観測所があるだけに、見晴らしのよい場所です。天気がいいときに登ってみるのがオススメです。太陽系外惑星などを観測している施設でロマンを感じます。
Although it is an unexpectedly low mountain with an altitude of 372m, it has a good view as it has an astronomical observatory. I recommend climbing when the weather is nice. I feel romance at a facility that observes extrasolar planets.
