★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 旧道と新道の交叉部に丁度重なる、谷部田の弁財天へ此処から一直線に延びる参道が今も残り、入口かつ街道からの分岐点である当地に赤い鳥居が昭和末まで在ったとの事。
現在は人参畑の農道で、鳥居の台も痕跡も見当らなかったが、法面は蛇の髭が植えられ、清潔感有。
その蛇の髭の中にかなり埋没した道標が残り、三面が何とか読める。全部は判読不能。
さらしな風土記によれば、
「(正面) 東 富田 古泉 白井村道
(右側面) 実業青年会創立廿五周年
(左側面) 南 富田 川井 野呂道
(裏面)川嵜 上下泉 弥富村」
との事。(原文二箇所にも揺れ有。一部推定)
グーグルストリートビューで見ると、御幣が在る時期もある様子で、訪問時半紙の無い棒のみ確認。
