★ ★ ★ ★ ★ どうしても旅行のスケジュール上、朝9時に訪れることができず外観のみ（問い合わせのためにエントランスホールまでは入りましたが。。）の見学でしたが期待していた通り浮遊感のある美しさでした。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ これが火葬場？と思うような、独特の建物です。朝９時から30分間のみ、建物の中を見学出来ます。蓮池で蓮が沢山咲いていて、中からの景色も素晴らしい！
Is this a crematory? It is a unique building that you think. You can see the inside of the building for only 30 minutes from 9 am. A lot of lotus blooms in the lotus pond and the scenery from inside is wonderful!

日本の斎場では、待ち時間の苦痛が当たり前で、そこには思い出も残さないようにしています。
伊東豊雄の建築は、間違いなく代表作です。
そして芝生の丘と蓮池は、日本人の生死観すら変える力を感じます。
この街の市民は、ここが最後の場所である事に全く後悔は無いと思います。
