Each specialist does their best to explain medical test results to me, even with my somewhat limited Japanese. One of the schedulers at the front desk also speaks very good English. My time with Nishimura-san is generally limited each visit (he has a pretty long queue of patients to get through), but he provides very good, clear feedback, and patiently allows me to ask questions in order to make sure I fully understood everything he says. He is also very good at using visual queues and props to help my understanding. Although we tend to use Japanese in conversation, he speaks quite a bit of English as well - you might be able to get away with a mixture of both. Note: The clinic is a bit confusing to reach within the building. Look for the large staircase at the side of the building, and walk through the entryway UNDERNEATH the staircase. You will find a small elevator on your left; please take this up to the 3rd floor.
