★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It may be a bit far from Tokyo but worth the trip. All works are own by Mr.Nakamura (good for him!). The downside is during the “off” season there is nothing much around. Restaurants and cafes are mostly closed. Recommend to go after March-.

Architecture is great -5stars.But would like to see more artist and different styles . As not everyone is obsessed with Mr Keith and his “love”of dogs....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful location, gorgeous architecture, friendly staff. It's possible to walk from the station but there is a seasonal bus (spring-fall maybe). Great displays, not huge, but I spent about an hour taking my time, looking through everything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful museum and building. The scope of the collection was fascinating and the curation of the current exhibition really well done. The staff were all so welcoming and so passionate about the artist and the work. Definitely leave time for the gift shop! A perfect day trip (but we stayed across the road at the equally great Lodge Keyspring)
