田	田中正典 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 20200116 (木) 米子市役所旧庁舎に入りました。現在、旧庁舎は山陰歴史資料館として生まれ変わり、1階は特別展示会場、2階は常設展示会場となっています。一階から二階へ上がる階段の半端ない広いスペースと手すりのなんとも言えない曲線のカーブ具合は時代を感じさせてくれ懐かしい気持ちが呼び起こされます。手に触れた手すりはこの時期ですからヒンヤリと冷たいのですが、何かほのぼのとした暖かい気持ちになるのです。不思議です。｢米子市役所旧庁舎」とのご縁は私が社会人となり赴任した昭和52年に米子で生活を始めたの事が始まりです。そして55年に身を固めて二回目に届けを出しました。そして56年に米子から転出しましたので都合3度、旧庁舎に行きました。｢米子市役所旧庁舎」はその翌年の57年まで現役で活動し、昭和5年の誕生から89年間、米子市民の生活を見つめてきましたが、今もその暖かい目差しは変わることはありません。いつ、何時ながめてもその姿はすっきり端正で重厚です。建物事態の保存は並大抵ではないですが、文化歴史を後世に残すことは必ずいずれ実を結びます。 20200116 (Thurs.)
