臨済宗南禅寺派寺院の今宮坊は、長岳山と号し、秩父三十四ヶ所札所の第14番観音として著名です。
今宮坊は、大宮山満光寺と号して創建され、その後長岳山正覚院金剛寺と改めた修験寺院だったといいます。
明治維新後の神仏分離令により修験は廃止となり、秩父三十四ヶ所札所の第14番観音だった観音堂が、今宮神社と分離し、今宮観音堂（今宮坊）として今に残されています。
観音堂の手前に秩父札所唯一の輪廻塔があります。お経が刻まれた円盤を廻すと、生者は最高の幸せが約束され、
亡者は地獄から浄土に生まれ変わると言われています。
御朱印は観音堂の脇の納経所でいただけます。
Imamiya Kannon-do (Imamiya Bo)
Imamiyabo, a Rinzai sect of Nanzen-ji temple, is called Mt. Nagatake.
Imamiyabo was founded as Omiyayama Manko-ji Temple, and was later changed to Nagatakeyama Shokakuin Kongo-ji Temple.
After the Meiji Restoration, the study was abolished and the Kannon-do, which was the 14th Kannon in Chichibu 34th Place, was separated from Imamiya Shrine and now remains as Imamiya Kannon-do (Imamiyabo).
In front of Kannon-do is Chichibu Fudasho's only revolving tower. When you turn the disk with the engravings, the living is promised the best happiness,
The dead are said to be reborn from hell to Jodo.
The red stamp can be found at the bank of the Kannon-do.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今宮神社から少し歩いた所にあるお堂です。「長岳山圓通閣今宮坊」と称される観音堂です。秩父巡礼14番札所となっています。お堂なので境内は小ぢんまりとしていますが、趣あるお堂です。
It is a hall just a short walk from Imamiya Shrine. It is Kannon-do called "Nagatake Sanenkaku Imamiyabo". It is the 14th place of pilgrimage to Chichibu. The shrine is small, so it is a quaint temple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 秩父三十四ヶ所の徒歩巡礼の3日目に訪れました。武田信玄は配下の失敗をこの寺の霊験にて許したとのことです。境内にケヤキの大木があり、樹齢500年とのことです。
裏手にトイレがあります。
