★ ★ ★ ★ ★ たまたまTVでヒエロニムス・ボスの番組を見ていたら、こちらのミュージアムショップのことを思い出し、久々に訪ねました。こちらのショップにはヒエロニムス・ボス関連のグッズ、というかボスが《快樂の園》祭壇画などで描いた奇怪なモンスターのフィギュアがいくつかあります。ボスは自分の絵画の中に実に多くの醜悪で奇怪なモンスターを描いています。そのうちのいくつかがフィギュアで販売されています。大小２種類のサイズのものもありますが、勿論大きなサイズの方がより精巧にできています。
それにしても、こちらのショップではどうしてこのようなものを扱っているのでしょうか？かつてボスの展示をやったから？それとも単にスタッフの趣味？今度訪ねた時に聞いてみようと思います。
本当はフィギュアも買いたかったのですが、予算の都合で今回は書籍だけにしました。書籍を読んで、もう少しボスのことを知ってからフィギュアを買おうと思います。
When I happened to watch the Hieronymus Bosch program on TV, I remembered this museum shop and visited it after a long time. In this shop, there are some Hieronymus Bosch-related goods, or rather strange monster figures drawn by the boss in the Altarpiece of "The Garden of Pleasure". The boss depicts so many ugly and bizarre monsters in his paintings. Some of them are sold as figures. There are two sizes, large and small, but of course the larger size is more elaborate.
But why does this shop sell this kind of thing? Did you ever do an exhibition of bosses? Or is it just a hobby of the staff? I will ask you when I visit you next time.
I really wanted to buy a figure, but due to budget constraints, I chose only books this time. I will read the book and get to know the boss a little more before buying a figure.
