道路から下る必要がありますが、階段自体はしっかりとした物なので安心です。
案内板の脇から降りますが、降り口もすぐに見つけられると思います。
余談ですが降り口の向かいには防砂ダムもあります。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この時期は最高に気持ちがいい。下流の方は人が居ますが、ここまで来ると誰もいない確率高し。次回は、もうひとつ上流にあるポイントに行きたいと思う。五泉駅からレンタサイクルで自転車を借りて来ましたが、なんとも美しい田園風景と山、そしてその先にある川。そして、その川に飛び込む→きゅうりを冷やして食べる。タバコを吸う。帰りに缶コーヒーを買う。良い休日になりました。次回は8月か。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 仙見川は上流に貯水ダムが無いため透明な美しい水が流れてくる。昔はどこもこんなに綺麗な川だった筈である。渓流魚はウグイやヤマメが多くこの長瀞ではヤマセミを見たことがある。夏はアブが大発生して遊びどころではないがそれも自然豊かな証だ。
Since there is no reservoir dam upstream of the Senmi River, beautiful clear water flows through it. In the old days, everywhere should have been such a beautiful river. Many mountain stream fish are dace and yamame trout, and I have seen crested kingfishers in Nagatoro. In the summer, there are a lot of bugs and it is not a place to play, but it is also a proof of the rich nature.
