Y	Yoshikatsu Okuno on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ いったい、この長瀬川はどこまで伸びているのだろうと、いつも散歩しながら思う。すべて歩いたわけではないが、調べると、北は放出付近の第二寝屋川から、柏原南口の大和川まで延々と続いている。実際、これをすべて一日で歩いた人はいるのだろうか？私も、部分、部分しか知らない。感じの良い遊歩道は、長瀬川からほぼ離れず南の大和川まで続く。途中、緑地地帯もあるが、緑地よりもこの長瀬川の静かな流れに魅力がある。一度は、このフルコ－スに挑戦しても無駄ではないと思う。 I always take a walk to see how far the Nagase River has grown. N	Nobbys ! on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大阪メトロ中央線の高井田駅、JRおおさか東線の高井田中央駅から東へ歩いてすぐの場所にある「長瀬川緑地（長瀬川遊歩公園）」です。かつての大和川は度々氾濫を起こしていたため、柏原から真西の堺市方向に新たな川筋が付け替えられました。それが今の大和川になっていますが、それ以前の旧大和川の本流が、こちらの長瀬川なのだそうです。幅２、３mの小さな川の両側がきれいに整備され、左岸（西側）には遊歩道が設けられています。もう少し上流（南側）には大きな鯉が十数匹、群れで泳いでいたり、川面には餌となる川エビなどを求めて、サギやセキレイなどの野鳥も集まっていました。 "Nagasegawa Ryokuchi (Nagasegawa Yuho Park)" is located just a short walk east from Takaida Station on the Osaka Metro Chuo Line and Takaida Chuo Station on the JR Osaka East Line. Since the former Yamato River was often flooded, a new river line was replaced from Kashiwara to Sakai City in the west. That is the current Yamato River, but it seems that the main stream of the former Yamato River before that was the Nagase River here. Both sides of a small river with a width of a few meters are well maintained, and there is a promenade on the left bank (west side). A little further upstream (south side), there were more than a dozen large carps swimming in groups, and wild birds such as herons and wagtails gathered on the surface of the river in search of food such as river shrimp.
