★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 「長良川水力発電所」です。1910年、明治時代に建てられたもので1981年まで使われていたそうです。今では歴史的建造物ということで登録有形文化財、近代化産業遺産となっています。ただ、ここは立入禁止となっており外から眺める、撮るのみでした。
そのお隣には当時の水車発電機が展示されていました。これも歴史的建造物かな？ちなみにチラッと写っています建屋。これは新しい発電所の建屋で景観を壊さないように統一したものとなっておりました。

昭和50年に一度見学で中を見学させてもらいましたが、とにかく機械の音が大きくてうるさい印象でしたが、昭和56年に水車と発電機を交換して建物も一部建替えられました。
取外された水車発電機は、建物の南側に展示されています。
明治の建設当時のままの建物本館（北側）・正門・外塀は、近代遺産として平成
12年に登録有形文化遺産として指定されました。
南側の建て替えられた建物も、レンガ風の外壁として全体のイメージを壊さないようにしながら、現在でも発電所として機能してます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 歴史がありそうな建物ですね。レンガ作りです。昔の発電機も展示してありました。川沿いなので景色がいいです。春は特にいいですね。
