森林展示館周辺にツツジがさいています。
パーク事体はものすごく広いですが，今はシーズンじゃないのか閑散としているし道も狭くて木々や落ち葉が多かった。もう少しきちんと整備したりパーク内をわかりやすいようにして欲しい。ハイキングコースもいくつかあるみたいだけどよくわからなかった。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東北道 矢板ICから ちょっと離れてますが、道中 鶏頂山を見ながらリンゴ畑の間を通り わかりやすい所でした。
駐車場も広く 施設も充実していて、家族で楽しめるところと思います。
キャンプ場や展望台もあり、車だけでなく、登山もできます。
山の中で 水が湧いていたり、渓流の音を聞きながら歩くのも気持ち良いです?

ただ５月中旬以降は新緑のため真っ暗な森になってしまい観察は厳しくなります。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 此処はキャンプ場に管理事務所がある広い駐車場が有るくらいです。 遊歩道は整備されていて良いですね! 自然を満喫するのにお勧めします!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 5月初旬に訪問しました。近くの八方ヶ原のツツジは全然咲いていませんでしたが、「県民の森管理事務所」周辺のツツジはまさに見頃でした。県民の森の敷地は広大なため、どこを目指していったらいいか分かりづらいですが、「県民の森管理事務所」を目指せば、周辺に駐車場・展示館・自販機・トイレなどいろいろな施設があります。
道路はワインディングしていて、週末や休日はツーリングのバイクが多く走っています。車の走行には十分注意してください。
