クルマだと入りにくいですね。
書棚は結構凝っていて、本好きにはうれしいです。
ネット通販全盛なのでたいへんだと思うけど、残って欲しい本屋さんです。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昔ながらの本と文具の本屋さんなのですが、なかなか個性的な品揃えのお店です。まず岩波出版のスペースがとても広く、岩波の新書・文庫などをこれほど揃えている個人のお店はそうそうないのではないかと思います。映画関係の本も多くて、古くなったものはワゴン売りもしているので、映画好きな人には掘り出し物もあるかも。あと、水戸藩や茨城の郷土史関係の本も結構ならんでました。全般に文化・教養に関する本の比率がお店のスペースに対してかなり高いと思います。数学関係の読み物もそこそこありました。色々と眺めてるうちに、つい、ラマヌジャンの本を買ってしまいました。下市AEONからそれほど遠くないので、お買い物のついでに覗いてみてはどうでしょう。

In general, I think the ratio of books on culture and culture is quite high relative to the space in the shop. There were some math related readings. While looking at it in various ways, I finally bought a Ramanujan book. Since it is not far from Shimoichi AEON, why not take a peek while shopping?

小さな本屋さんながら、文芸関係の本をしっかりおいてあるのが嬉しい。
また、岩波新書、岩波ジュニアがかなり充実。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 今や稀少な、昔ながらの書店。どこに行っても同じような本しか置いていないこの時代に、店主のセレクトが反映された個性的な棚を見ていると、子どもの頃、書店に行くと感じたワクワクした気分を思い出す。水戸や茨城の郷土史や歴史関係書、文学、映画、岩波文庫、新書などが充実していて、よく見ると自費出版書などもある。書店とは町に文化を提供する場所だったのだ。文房具も良品が揃っている。こういうお店は、なくならないで欲しい。店のおばさんは、下町ならではの気さくな方で、会話も楽しい。

A bookstore was a place to provide culture to the town. Good stationery is also available. I hope these stores will not disappear. The lady at the store is a friendly person unique to downtown, and conversation is fun.

岩波書店の文庫と新書なら、県内の大規模書店で在庫がない本でも、このお店にはある場合があります。
It feels like an old-fashioned bookstore in the city. The assortment of Iwanami Bunko, Iwanami Shinsho, and Iwanami Hyundai Bunko is probably the best in Ibaraki.
If it is a paperback and a new book of Iwanami Shoten, even a book that is out of stock at a large bookstore in the prefecture may be in this store.
