A	Andy Teo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Naeba Ski Resort is located about 1.5 hrs by bullet train from Tokyo and a 40 mins ride by bus from Echigo Yuzawa station. Try to avoid during weekend as it can get crowded especially with school students. They have runs that suit all levels. This ski resort is connected to another Ski resort - Kagura.

Strongly looked down on but if you can hop outside of the boundaries there will be snow a couple days after the fall. I was very impressed and had a great experience. You can buy a ticket that gives you access to two mountains conceted by gondola. I did not have a chance to get to the other mountain though.

S	Sutirtha Das on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great one day trip spot from Tokyo. There's plenty of beginner areas & loads of restaurants. You need to take a bus from echigo yuzawa. The night ski is pretty good. But the shinkansen connectivity makes the area pretty crowded. Definitely aplace you should che k out for your ski day trip.
J	J Kenney on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Prince Resort with full range of services for everyone…except Snow scoots or Snow Moto’s only allowed on 3 of the lower lifts. This means you can’t access any of the upper slopes and only 1/2 of the lower. Strangely the connected Kagura Tashiro and Mitsumata areas also owned by Prince resorts allow them 100% on all the lifts and runs! WHY??? The hotel is way to expensive and there are many better choices in Yuzawa area. The ski area itself is not very big and the runs are too steep for most… The Kagura area is much better with a wider choice of terrain.
V	Valentino Rocco on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great place and the closest from Tokyo to go for skiing. The price is not to bad either for all beginner and other level. I think we paid 100 dollars for 3 days ticket :) Although I have my own equipment.
