★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 石庭のような境内が印象的。ここからの眺めも良い。ガイドマップでは取り上げられていないが、個人的には立派なお寺と思いました。
The precincts like a rock garden are impressive. The view from here is also good. Although not featured in the guide map, I personally thought it was a fine temple.

尾道市内の小中学校の生徒さん達が描いた紙コップのなかに灯りが点り、本堂ではピアノコンサートも開かれていました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 艮神社のすぐ近くにある日蓮宗のお寺です。参道を進み、階段の先に竜宮門があります。本堂の裏には、加藤清正を祀るお堂があります。
It is a temple of the Nichiren sect, which is located very close to Bushi Shrine. Follow the approach and you will find the Ryugu Gate at the end of the stairs. Behind the main hall is a hall dedicated to Kiyomasa Kato.

建物の壁の社紋（？）がかっこいい。
こげ茶の木材に彫った白の模様もかっこいい。
最初1匹いた猫ちゃんが、いつのまにか5匹になっていました。
私にとって『妙宣寺』は猫ちゃんのお寺になりました。
I visited on March 4, 2009.
The company crest (?) On the wall of the building is cool.
The white pattern carved on the dark brown wood is also cool.
The first cat was one, but before I knew it, it was five.
For me, "Myosenji" has become a cat temple.
